Thoughtful things for your household

December 7th, 2007

Are you looking for a great breakfast or morning tea experience? Funny Cool Stuff has tracked down some nifty devices to make your day even brighter.

Cookies mug

Enjoy your coffee or tea along with your favorite cookies. No plates needed, so no extra washing up! Absolutely good for lazy people like you and me! πŸ™‚

Security mug

An anti-theft mug for the coffee connoisseur. This special cup has a hole which prevents most people from using it. Only the real cup-owner can use a shaped key to close the hole. What a weird but creative idea… practical or not it’s up to you to decide!

Tea maker

Any tea connoisseur will know that it takes effort to make good tea (I mean the waiting part). This Penguin Tea Timer is quite brilliant. Just place your tea cup under the beak and set it to the desired time. As you turn the timer dial, the beak lowers the tea into the hot water. A bell will sound when time is up and the penguin automatically lifts his beak to remove the tea bag from the water!

Transparent toaster

For the toast connoisseur, the transparent toaster allows you to see the bread while it is being toasted so you will always be able to get the perfect texture that you enjoy. Looks stylish too! Can definitely place this beside your Play Station 3 in the living hall!

Butter cutter

Now you don’t have to suffer when trying to cut butter which has just come out of a fridge. This handy device will slice off the tough yellow stuff with a push of a button.

Banana protector

Tired of bringing bananas to work or school only to find them bruised or squashed? Banana Protector lets you transport your banana safely so you can enjoy the perfect experience anytime, anywhere. Not sure if they come in different sizes… if your banana’s size is too big, then it might not fit in this protector. πŸ™‚

A good start to the day is what you need to overcome stress. Cheers and have a great weekend!

That cookie mug is awesome! I would definately love to get a few people one of those.

I would have to get the toaster for myself. I like my toast with just a bit of colour.

    Great ideas!

The glass toaster looks so fantastic, the penguin tea timer so cute! Now I’ve got some ideas for this year’s Christmas shopping πŸ™‚

don’t really understand how the security mug would actually work, but i’d love to get one of those, sick and tired of having strangers taking a sip of my drink without my consent

The security mug prevents others from using your mug (like taking it our of the cabinet and using it), not from drinking out of it when it is full.

You keep the plug with you, and, when you want to use the mug, attach it to fill the hole so that it can hold liquid.

    Oh, so many nice ideas!
The tea timer is particurally nifty for me. Although it should pick up more than just one tea bag

    I read about the toaster.
    I just a design concept.
You cant’t buy it yet, cause the glass won’t get warm enough. They need a bit more research

The coffee mug idea isn’t foolproof. If someone at my work had one, I’d be more likely to piss in it just to annoy them for being so anal.

the security mug could backfire if your co worker came up and pulled the plug out on you

That banana protector is the holy grail!!!!
